The following are the stages in conducting sample analysis, namely:

• Rinse all equipment with solvent in a spray gun filtered with a 0.8 m . membrane

• Assemble all Patch Test equipment with 1.2 m . membrane

• Shake the sample by hand so that the particles are evenly distributed

• Pour ± 100 ml of sample into the funnel

• Turn on the Vacuum Pump, and wait until the remaining sample is ± 20 ml of the total sample entered

• Rinse with solvent

• Turn on the Vacuum Pump and wait for the membrane filter to dry

• Turn off the vacuum pump and rinse again with solvent so that the particles stuck to the funnel walls are also filtered, and turn on the vacuum pump again.

• After the membrane filter is dry, turn off the vacuum pump, lift the filter membrane using tweezers and place the membrane onto the Petri Slide
