Swab Testing of PCBs in Internal Part of Transformator

Method to get the PCBs concentration value on the inner surface of the transformer that no longer contains dielectric oil is to do a swab test. In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.29/MENLHK/SETJEN/PLB.3/12/2020 concerning PCBs Management.

In the swab test, sampling was carried out by wiping the inside of the transformer and the results of the swab test samples were analyzed using GC ECD in accordance with IEC 61619 and the limit for PCBs content in the swab test was <10 g/100cm2.
