PALL HDP22 Oil Purifier

Leveraging more than 30 years of experience in design and the field, Pall presents its third HDP Series liquid conditioning purifier product – the HDP22 Oil Purifier.

 

The HDP Series combines the water removal performance of mass transfer purifiers with high reliability and ease of use to help ensure maximum equipment uptime and lowest cost of ownership, HDP Series Pall Purifiers feature a vacuum tower design that provides highly efficient water removal.

 

The HDP Series purifiers employ a design for maximum uptime, closely based on historical Pall purifier designs, demonstrating higher utilization rates even in the most heavy-duty, continuous applications.

 

The HDP22 uses specially selected components to help ensure maximum reliability and lower cost of ownership. These premium components include:
• Best-in-class Schneider Electric PLC
• Reliable Elmo Rietschle vacuum pump with 12 month service intervals
• Rickmeier gear pumps – proven performance for over 20 years at Pall Purifiers

 

Controlling dissolved and free water in the reservoir is essential to ensure the absence of free water during operation. With the Pall HDP22 Purifier, this is done efficiently, easily and reliably. The diagram below illustrates the concept.

 

 

The Pall HDP series of purifiers have a vacuum tower design that provides highly efficient water removal. The HDP22 model can remove 100% of free gas and water (under steady state), as well as up to 80% of dissolved gas and water. In addition, this purifier is also capable of removing solid contaminants with 99.9% efficiency (up to 3 microns).
HDP Series Oil Purifiers exhibit a 40% faster dehydration rate compared to commonly used similar sized purifiers.

 

Standard features:
Pall HDP Series Air Purifiers come with the following standard features for which many suppliers charge extra:
• Dissolved Water Sensor (Pall model WS12)
• Low watt density heater (15kw output)
• Pall Profile Star Coalescing Element to reduce the risk of carryover

 

Ease of use:
The HDP22 Series offers the following features to increase flexibility in service and lower cost of ownership
• Low maintenance
• Able to work with various oil viscosities (3 cSt to 1000 cSt)
• Does not require utility water for cooling or pump operation – the only utility required is an electrical power source
