PALL Deltadyne® - Indicators (Differential Pressure)
Has your hydraulic or lubrication system experienced sudden problems due to a clogged filter? Replacing the filter too early is costly, but replacing it too late can have fatal consequences for machine components. Pall Deltadyne® Indicators offer a smart solution that provides accurate signals when the filter element needs to be replaced, ensuring maximum efficiency without the risk of leaks.
Gapless Operation
Deltadyne® devices work by sensing the differential pressure between the upstream and downstream ports of the filter element. Their main advantage lies in the Magnetic Coupling, which isolates the pressurized fluid from the electrical or mechanical actuator. This eliminates the need for dynamic seals, thus eliminating leak points common in other types of warning devices.
Featured Features:
• Memory (Visual Indicators): The red button will appear and remain in place even after the system is turned off until manually reset. This simplifies post-operational checks.
• Thermal Lockout: Optional bimetallic switch prevents indicator activation below 32°F (0°C) to avoid false alarms due to high oil viscosity when the engine is still cold.
• Automatic Reset: On electric versions, the switch automatically returns to its normal position once the system reaches operating temperature and the differential pressure drops.
• Dual-Light Circuit: Supports the use of a green-red light circuit as a reliable system continuity indicator.
Applications:
Deltadyne® indicators and switches are designed for high compatibility:
• Flexible Installation: Can be mounted directly on the Pall filter housing or using a mounting block for remote installation.
• Fluid Compatibility: Nitrile seals are available for petroleum and water-based emulsions, and Fluorocarbon seals are available for special synthetic fluids.
• Start-up Monitor: Serves as a system warm-up monitor to detect high fluid viscosity during initial operation.
