ANDRITZ SIR (Switched Integrated Rectifier)
SIR (Switched Integrated Rectifier) provides an effective solution in reducing particulate emission levels and improving overall ESP performance, without requiring large investments in expansion. ANDRITZ provides trusted technology supported by superior expertise and services in the field of clean air technology.
With a variety of advanced high voltage power supply options, ANDRITZ has proven to be a reliable partner in providing efficient electrostatic precipitators.
1. SIR4 180
SIR4 180 is the largest among the other SIRs. Available in three variants with input voltages of 380, 400 and 480 V respectively, this model is specifically designed for larger precipitators, capable of handling higher current loads. Comprising three powerful power electronic units, the SIR4 180 promises reliable and efficient performance.
• 70kV/2500mA
• 85kV/2100mA
• 100kV/1800mA
2. SIR4 25,35 & 60
SIR4 25,35 & 60 This is the smallest model and is designed for smaller settlers. These models consist of only one power electronics unit.
Four models are available, with input voltage options of 380, 400 and 480 V:
• 85kV/400mA
• 85kV/700mA
• 70kV/800mA
• 60kV/1000mA
• 100kV/250mA
3. SIR4 102/120
Middle class and most popular model, comes in three versions, for 400, 480 and 500 V. This model has two power electronics units.
• 70kV/1500mA
• 85kV/1200mA
• 70kV/1700mA
• 85kV/1400mA
• 100kV/1200mA
Main features of SIR (Switched Integrated Rectifier):
• Limited free space required, no cabinet space required.
• Installation and commissioning time is reduced to half a day compared to several days for a conventional T/R and its control cabinet.
• SIR contains 3 phase electricity symmetrically.
• SIR typically uses about 65% of the kVA required by conventional T/R and can still provide the same kW to the ESP. This feature has an impact on operational cost savings by consuming less kVA.
• SIR has efficiencies of over 95% and up to 97% with our SiC models. The smaller cable size results in cost savings for cable materials
• Ease of installation (due to smaller size and weight) and less cabling reduces installation time (and potential rebuilding costs when upgrading).
• Robust and proven design solutions.
• Modular design where the structure remains on the roof during maintenance.
• Minimized downtime in case of component failure (less than 1 hour) thanks to standardized spare parts.
