ANDRITZ Medium-consistency pumps MC series
The MC series medium-consistency pumps from ANDRITZ meet customer expectations regarding efficiency, long life, easy maintenance and reliability. This pump ensures stable and economical production, with energy savings of up to a third compared to other pumps, as well as lower investment costs thanks to its lightweight construction.
ANDRITZ offers proven pumps for transporting wet beet pulp from extraction systems to presses using screw or belt conveyors, bucket elevators or positive displacement pumps. ANDRITZ MC series pumps are perfect for replacing old systems, as they offer advanced pumping of wet beet pulp and provide great benefits.
The MC series medium-consistency pumps from ANDRITZ have several main advantages, one of which is a simple modular design and an innovative separation system (SMARTSEP). This integrated degassing system enables the use of the first proven single shaft solution to pump consistency pulp in a variety of media and operating ranges without the need for a vacuum pump. This equipment is designed to meet the needs of factories from small to large scale with capacities up to 5,000 bdmt/day.
The MC series pumps from ANDRITZ also have a flexible volute arrangement with four support legs, allowing vertical or horizontal installation with adjustable degassing lines. Peak efficiency of more than 70% and ease of operation make this technology highly efficient. Thanks to the outstanding efficiency of the consistent pump and the variable speed drive, the Pump is distinguished by its low energy consumption.
